RTE Website, originally uploaded by johnmryan.

RTE have launched an update to their site. Not sure what to make of it, so I don’t know if I like it yet. It seems ok, I notice their TV Guide has a loading problem with Firefox when you select a channel from the drop down menu…. What do you think?

From Press Release

…The new site provides visitors with even more award winning content and a variety of additional functionalities such as:

. a newly designed platform to showcase RTÉ’s content in a modern and more user friendly way
. highly improved navigation options, including increased accessibility through dynamic menus and cross linking of feature sites
. diverse multimedia choices, including an integrated media player and future plans to introduce new multi media formats and higher bitrates.
. an increased selection of multimedia listening and viewing alternatives
. improved viewing quality through the increased width of all pages
