Another Strange Rant – John in Dublin
I have to admit, and well I don’t want to admit, but I’m going to. I love trash TV, surprise, surprise. Desperate Housewives is one such show that I love to watch every Tuesday, for the past few weeks myself and a friend (male also – how sad are we) watch it together via MSN, strange as this sounds is actually lots of fun, this friend has also got me hooked on another show called Shameless, this show is just excellent, but I never seem to get a chance to watch it. You can imagine my dismay yesterday when I had to miss my shows to work. My friend called me at work, to tell me it was sad that I was so pi**ed off about missing a TV show, but its my Tuesday night – you know.
I’m starting to be a bit adventurous in Dublin – a bit. And it’s paying off, I now have three new friends, and two of them are not Irish, not that race makes a difference, it’s just its new to have non Irish friends (for me), well new for a country boy in Dublin anyway. Going out a good bit now too and actually starting to enjoy Dublin for a change.
Cheers for S for showing me around Dublin last Sunday night ^_^

Ch-Changes
I have decided to stay in Dublin (pending approval from my department currently) which means, my transfer to Limerick won’t happen (obviously). This decision on my part like many of my life changing decisions usually get debated about in my head for weeks, but are enacted so fast I wonder if I really did it, and then question the motive behind the action. So I am going to write here about why I did it (summary), excluding work related reasons, it’s my policy not to write about my work.
That’s it really – but it’s enough, my family and friends are peeved off a bit about me not coming home – but there you are.
