02.02.07Three Mobile goes downIt seems to have gone un-noticed really, possible because three mobile has very few customers in Ireland. But, being one of their customers (currently), I had no coverage until late last night. Needless to say three did not apologise to its customers by way of a text or even a few bob credit. However, I suppose it does demonstrate how reliant I am on my mobile phone, especially since I could receive messages and calls, but not make them! One good thing did come from this outage though. SKYPE, I called a few of my friends on their landline for 2cents ...

01.16.07Three Mobile: The way to roam?Three seems to be making headway with abolishing roaming charges for Irish roaming customers. Hearld AM reports Under the terms of the scheme, Three customers visiting Britain Italy, Austria, Australia, Hong Kong, Sweden and Denmark will no longer be charged for receiving calls and texts. Customers can also use existing minutes, text and data bundles to make voice and video calls, send texts, picture and video messages, and even surf the internet.
