I have not been on the internet as much as usual, these days. Shock! Horror! Is he sick? Actually yes I kinda am. But I am pushing along. My exams seem far away, but really they are so near. In just a few months, I will be sitting, what I hope will be, my last exam in TI. My degree. It’s funny, how I ended up doing Business. I have to say its really a default for me. Most people who know me, will know that I really only ever wanted to work in the media. But I have to say in retrospect, the direction I have taken is better in so many ways. I will have a grounding in business, and a degree. The plan was to complete this degree (it has taken 5 years! - but I have a Diploma in Business also), and then progress on to do some media/broadcasting/drama course. Now it looks like, that if i do, do this, then it will only be as a hobby. I am doing, this degree, really for two reasons, and these may be the wrong reasons. The first reason is to say - well that I have a Degree, I achieved something. The second, and I know to some people this will seem weak.. Is money. i’m sorry to be one to admit it but I makes the world go around. I know, I have friends who say they work at it for their education and all that stuff. And all I can say is Bull shit! Sorry, but if, in the morning I won a tone of money, I would drop the course and pick up a oversized ban and mansion. And I would do a fun and enjoyable course. But that is not the world. I guess, some people, would say, so what. We knew this already, that’s old news. But its only when you drag yourself through 5 years of college, that you realize, Shit what am I doing here?

I am not for a moment saying, I would not complete the course, I would be foolish at this stage to drop it ( an believe me I nearly did on two occasions), its just well you get pissed off at it all.

I went to say scary movie 3 today. And deery derry, OH deary me, I have nothing good to say about it. They seemed to be struggling throughout the entire film for a laugh, resorting to Firing some object through the face of mother Teresa’s photo. I nearly walked out at that stage. Was it necessary to put this part in. No body saw that this was funny, they must have editors and producers that get off on that stuff.
