Witchfest- A Report on the Day

Irelands largest Pagan festival, the Children Of Artemis sponsored “Witchfest†hit our shores on the 26th Of June, 2004. This was the second Witchfest and since I missed the first (and would probably miss many others considering my track record for getting to these things) I said I’d better make an appearance.
So I hopped on a bus, baggage laden and bustling at the thought of the next day, and stayed with a friend in the city for Friday night. Being me, I left it to the last minute (cancelled plans) so I was sure to turn up early, hopping on yet another bus, in the hope I’d catch a ticket floating around. Apparently it wouldn’t have been necessary as there were plenty going, but while I was there I said I’d volunteer.
So I was asked to bend a few hooks for hanging things in the stalls section. So I did this, slowly but surely (it was all very manual) and I eventually had eight before they were taken and I was starting again. Soon enough much more capable hands than mine engaged in the bending of hooks, and it was soon done.
