On the First of May, ten contries will join the European the EU. Ireland are Calling it the Day of Welcomes and many towns around Ireland are Celebrating with different events.

Mr Noel Ahern T. D. Minister for Housing and Urban Renewal today (30 April) gave a ‘CÉAD MÍLE FÁILTE’ to the accession of the 10 new Member States to the EU. The Minister was launching an exhibition entitled ‘The Environment in the New Member States’. The exhibition is being held in ENFO, 17 St Andrew Street, Dublin 2 during the month of May to welcome and celebrate the accession of the new Member States.
