In Dublin now folks!
Ok, so I am in Dublin sitting here, listening to ‘She Fucking Hates me’ (don’t know why - just like the song - can’t explain it), yes I am in Dublin. It’s a long story how I came here, well, no its not long at all. I got permanent in the Civil Service, but of course I was offered Dublin instead of Limerick or Tipperary, still though I can’t complain the job is good so far, so we will see how things go.
Dublin takes getting used to though. I woke up this morning, with a good feeling, had a decent sleep. But that’s where the good feeling was lost. Firstly, I forgot to pay the shower meter, it went ice cold mid shower so I had to freeze my nuts off. Then I stepped out into the morning, happy in the knowledge that I did not have to start until 10am ( I had a meeting till 1), my car was there with a clamp on it. Again my fault, I ‘forgot’ ( I did not forget really - just lazy ) to get a parking permit)
80 euro later I went to work. But thankfully that was the worst thing that happened. 10+ cups of coffee later that evening and after many phone chats and texts I feel much better, and its 10pm now, and there is a Bank Holiday Weekend heading my way so I cant complain really!
And I am blogging again, well actually I never stopped, I run about 5 different blogs now and a forum, so I have been busy online really as well as off line.
P.S If you are in Ireland and use a mobile (which of course you do) switch to Meteor they are much better value for money!
